Wear CJ Shelton’s iconic painting of “The Colour of Woman” close to your heart and lets its feminine goddess energy encircle you.
The Symbolism of “The Colour of Woman”
This circle or classic “mandala” of eight female figures, each embracing a moon, is based on an ancient goddess symbol that dates back over 60,000 years. The red spiral on each of their bellies symbolizes the life-force and fertility. Between the figures, the seven chakra colours (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet) flower outwards. CJ Shelton’s painting reminds us that we are stronger whenever we come together in harmony and unity.
Each pendant is one-of-kind and lovingly put together by CJ’s own hands. A reproduction of the image is applied to a black gesso-coated wooden mount, the back is signed, and the front coated with a high-gloss, durable epoxy resin.
