Learn to create beautiful intricate mandala designs!

Let’s get dotty! Dot mandala painting is the calm and meditative process of applying acrylic paint, dot by dot, to create beautiful circular designs known as mandalas, an easy method that requires minimal art skills. The circular shape and symmetry of mandala art is very pleasing to the eye and creating them is a deeply absorbing and relaxing process.

In this workshop, we will start by drawing a radial pattern on a small pre-prepped black canvas (square or round) as the guideline for your dot mandala. Then, an introduction to the “dotting” technique and a bit of practice using specialized tools will give you the skills needed to create your final piece.

This is a fun, interactive workshop suited to anyone, even if you are a complete beginner. All materials are supplied for your use during the workshop, allowing you to relax and fully enjoy the process in the beautifully calm ambience of my studio. By the end of the workshop you will have your own unique and ready-to-hang art piece, plus the skills to continue making dot mandalas on your own.

Fee includes all materials. This is an in-person workshop limited to only 6 participants which means you get lots of one-on-one help.

CANCELLATION POLICY. Please note that all workshops are non-refundable if you are a no-show, cancel or change your mind. A raincheck to take another workshop as a substitute may be offered if there are extenuating circumstances that prevent you from attending but this will be solely at the discretion of the instructor. In the event a class needs to be cancelled due to weather or other unforeseen reasons it will be rescheduled or fully refunded.
